Hola, Yes I know I'm a week late with this chapter. But there is so much stuff going on at my house you wouldn't believe how hard it has been for me to get computer time. Anyways I hope you enjoy this chapter. It's really good. I don't own any character in this story, except Charity a.k.a. Sara. And the villain Mischief. I don't feel like typing everyone who owns Sailor Moon and the characters, cause that takes to long and I know that you want to get onto the story. If you want to know who owns the characters check out one of my other stories. So on to the story. Don't forget to e-mail me, at serena84@hotmail.com. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~*~*~*~*~*~ New Beginnings: Part 5: The Plan By Sailor Catrina Terra walked to her office, the only sound she heard was the clicking of her shoes against the tile floor. The office was empty, the only people present was herself, the guard, who was sitting at the front desk downstairs, and the cleaning people. She walked down the darkened hall until she reached the last door. She pulled the key out of her purse, and unlocked the door to her office. She slowly turned the handle, and let out a slow sigh. The door opened and she stepped inside, hitting the light switch next to the door. When she did so, the chair at her desk slowly turned to reveal a well-built male. He had long brown hair, and the clearest emerald eyes. Terra felt her knees go weak when she saw him, but thought it better to act confident, and not nervous at his appearance. "Hello, Galen." "Hello Princess Terra," he said rising, and bowing his head in greeting. "It has been along time." Terra frowned, "To bad it's not under better circumstances. What do you want?" Galen walked around the desk and took a couple steps towards her. Terra walked the opposite direction, and went behind the desk, and sat in the seat that was just vacated. "To talk," he said keeping his voice calm. "So, talk I'm listening," Terra said looking at the top of her desk. "But, if you could make it fast, I would really appreciate it, I still have a lot of work to do before dinner." "Where to start," he said more to himself then Terra. She kept her voice calm and collective, but her shaking hands deceived her. "As Endymion, once told me the beginning is always a good place." Galen let out a small laugh at her still fiery spirit, and then cleared his throat before talking. "When I was growing up in the Silver Millennium, my grandfather used to tell me stories about how my father was a Knight of Selene, and how he had died protecting the palace. Every time my grandfather told me another story it made me want to be a knight more then anything else in the entire world. So as soon as I was old enough I began training to become a knight. Soon becoming a knight was all that I could think about. No matter what I did, all I could think about was becoming a knight just like my father. I made a lot of friends, and was always helping the other cadets out, even if they didn't ask for it. So, I guess that's why Queen Serenity chose me to be the leader of the Knights. I was devoted to protecting the kingdom and my friends. Back then the prince used to train with us, just like your brother, used to train with the generals. We became fast friends, because after his sister leaving and his father dyeing he thought it was his duty to protect his little sister, mother, and when she came back Serena, and I felt kind of the same way about protecting family and friends as he did." He took a deep breath, and then continued. "Finally, after many years, you and Princess Serenity returned. There was to be a great ball held in the honor of your return. I thought about asking you to dance once our twice that night, but then when I saw you that afternoon, I remembered when we used to hang out. Before I knew what was going on I had asked if I could be your escort to the ball, and in response you kissed me. Not on the cheek, but on the lips." A smile graced his strong face, and when he looked at Terra he noticed that tears had come to her eyes with the memory of that night. He wanted to reach out and wipe away the tears, but the way that she had treated him when she first saw him, told him to think better of it. "That night when I saw you, you looked so beautiful in your dress, that I wanted to hold you all night, maybe even for the rest of our lives. Then Queen Serenity made her announcement, and reality kicked in. If Serena and Endymion where to be married they would be the next rulers of the Silver Millennium, which means you would rule the Earth Kingdom. I wasn't going to give up being a knight, and couldn't ask you to turn your back on your people, so I knew there was no hope of the two of us being together. Right before I left, and you told me you loved me, I wanted to take you in my arms, and tell you I felt the same exact way, and then kiss you with so much love and passion, to make you know I was telling the truth," he sighed. "Again reality kicked in, and I realized that no matter how much I loved you. We could never be together. So, I walked away without saying a single word." Terra looked at him her face tear streaked, and more unshed tears glistening in her deep blue eyes. "If there isn't any chance of us being together, then why are you here now?" He walked around the desk, and turned her chair so she was facing him. He kneeled down in front of her, and took her hands in his. "I don't care if we can't be together in the future," he brought one of her hands to his lips, and gently caressed it with a kiss. "I want to be with you now." Tears again slipped from Terra's eyes. "Really?" she was able to say between tears. Galen took his hands from hers, and wrapped them around her neck, pulling her towards him. Their lips met, and did not part for quite sometime. When they pulled away Galen brought his hand up again to wipe away her tears. "Can I take that as a maybe?" Repeating the same exact words he had said to her all those years ago. Galen decided to go along with the little game. "You can take it anyway you want as long as you let me walk you to the restaurant when your done here." "I'll do one better," she said smiling, leaning forward and kissing him gently on the cheek. "I'll let you walk me to the restaurant, and then back here after dinner, so I can pick up my car." "So, the question is," he said rising slightly, then leaning to kiss the tip of her nose. "What do I do for the next hour?" He stood, and looked down at Terra. "Well actually," Terra said looking mischievous, "I don't have any work to do here. I finished it all before I left." Still looking deep into her eyes, he raised an eyebrow and spoke. "Then why are you here?" "Cause, I wanted to get away from everyone, and this was the only place, I could really go," she said trying to sound as innocent as possible. "Well, the actual question is then," he said taking her hands and pulling her up with him, "What are we going to do till dinner?" "I'm sure we'll think of something," she said wrapping her arms around his neck and leaning in for another kiss. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Mansion~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ *~*~*~*~*~* Serea walked down the steps confidently. Her memories of the past had been returned to her, and better then that, she had gotten ready in forty minutes. She couldn't wait to see the looks on the guys' faces when they saw her walk down the stairs with five minutes to spare. She lifted up the ends of her dress as she slowly walked down the steps. When she reached the guys' floor, she looked down both halls trying to see if any of them were in their rooms. She new Nate was still at the restaurant and wouldn't be leaving there till closing time. The other three she wasn't quite sure where they were. After she realized she couldn't tell if they were up here, she continued down the steps. When she reached the foyer, she heard two voices coming from the direction of the living room, and decided to head that way. "Okay, so is everything set up for the return," Matthew said as Serea stood in the doorway. When he noticed Zack sitting on the couch with his mouth open. He turned to see Serea standing behind him, her fists planted on her hips, and trying to contain a laugh. "How, long have you been standing there?" "Long enough," she said becoming serious. "What's this about a return?" "It's nothing," Matthew said as best he could, without seeming nervous. "So as soon as Jake gets down here we will leave." He said trying to change topics. "That's great that we can leave when Jake appears, but what is this return?" "What they're talking about, is us going back to Japan," a voice sounded from behind her. She turned on her heal to face Jake. "You've got to be kidding." She looked back at the other two. "Have you forgotten what happened to me there, or am I the only one with a memory. It hasn't even been a month and you want me to return to Japan just like that. I don't think that is going to happen. I've got a good life here. People like me; they're buying my clothes. You want me to just drop all that and return to my old life, where people picked on me and ridiculed me. And, blamed me for things, that weren't my fault!" She screamed the last part, tears rolling freely down her cheek. "Serea," Jake said putting a comforting arm around her shoulder, which she just shrugged off. "We wouldn't ask this of you unless we thought you were ready. Besides you don't even know what are plan was. We were going to tell everyone at dinner, and if there was just one person who argued with it we would come up with a new one." "Fine," she said sniffing, and wiping the tears away. "I'll listen to your plan, but if I find one little thing wrong with it. You scrap the idea, and don't bring it up again till I'm ready got it." She waited till all three of them nodded their heads in agreement before turning towards the door. "If we don't hurry we are going to be late." The three men followed her lead, and walked silently behind her towards the door. When they stepped outside, the limo was already sitting out front, the door open and Jeremy standing beside it. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*StarDust~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~*~*~*~*~*~ Nate looked over the table in front of him one more time. Twelve seats where situated around the banquet table. He had had the couch moved back to the storage room so they would have more room tonight. At each seat sat a folded napkin, silver wear, crystal stem wear, and champagne flutes where at all the seats except the three girls and Jason's. He wasn't quite sure why he didn't just go ahead and give them champagne flutes as well, he knew that Terra, and Serea where going to argue with him, but it was worth a shot. He turned around, and began walking towards the door that led to the kitchen, when a voice sounded from behind him. "I didn't think you would go to so much trouble for tonight. Especially since we are all old friends." Nate turned to see Ashe walking through the door, followed by Sara, then Jason, and lastly Logan, and Drake. "Where's your fearless leader?" He said walking forward to be embraced in a back- slapping hug with Ashe. "We're not quite sure," Ashe said backing away. "About an hour and a half ago, he got a call, and went rushing out the door, saying he'd meet us here." Nate walked up to Sara, and kissed her on the cheek, "How are you Princess?" "Much better now that we are all together again. Well almost all of us are here together," she said. "And, don't call me Princess. My name is Sara now, there are no royalty among us." "You and your sister will always be royalty to me," Nate said bowing. Sara followed up by hitting him on the shoulder. "So should I call you Prince, or are you going to follow both your sisters lead and forget that royalty stuff, and let me call you Jason." "Actually, he'd prefer to be called Jay," a soft feminine voice sounded behind the group. "At least that's what my sister told me." Sere, stood just inside the door, flanked by the last three Earth Generals. "Where's Terra?" Asked Nate. "We'd be inside if the guys and Sere would move," Galen said, from outside the door. Everyone moved into the room, and to the table. Sere sat at the head of the table, with Terra on her left and Sara on her right. Galen sat next to Terra, then Ashe, Logan, and Drake. Jason sat at the end of the table closest to the door that led to the kitchen. Next to Sara with his back against the wall, was Matthew, then Jake, Nate, and lastly there was Zack, who sat next to Jason. Sere was the first to speak. "So Earth Generals why don't you tell all of us, what you wouldn't tell me at the house. What do you have in plan for the return?" Terra who was whispering something into Galen's ear looked up startled, her face going pale. "You told her," she looked accusingly at Matthew and then her gaze went down the line, skipping over Nate, and going directly to Zack. "So you knew about this too?" Sere looked at Terra and leaned back in her chair. "Okay lets have it guys." "I guess I'll start," Terra took a deep breath and then began, she looked directly at Sere. "Before Pluto sent us to find you, she gave us the final instructions. She told us about the meeting with Galen, Sara, Jason, and everyone else, but she didn't tell us when we would meet, or that it would happen this soon." She took a deep breath, and felt Galen squeeze her hand reassuringly from under the table. "The only thing she told us, was that we needed to come up with a plan for our return to Japan. She said that when we," Terra brought her hand up and swept it around, indicating everyone at the table, "where together, that Mischief's final attack would becoming soon, she couldn't tell us how soon. She said it could be a month or maybe even a year or two, before the attack would come, but we must fight as one. Not just the people at this table, but everyone you left in Japan, most fight with us as well." "So we were told to come up with a plan, for when we were all together," Jake continued the tale where Terra left off. "We figured that Mischief wouldn't stage the final show down, until you returned. At least if she was as obsessed with you now, as she was in the Silver Millennium. Which gives a little leeway. Not much but some." "So here's the plan," Matthew said. "Two of us will go to Japan, and look for a place, to put up another part of your design company. Nate already has his restaurant up there, and Jason's company is there as well." He looked over at Jason who was just a little shocked. "After lunch, I went to work, and did some checking on your company," Zack explained. "That's how we know a lot about your company." "That's right," Matthew continued. "Those two people will travel to Tokyo, and look for a place, to set up Serea's business. Once they find a place, the building should begin. I want that completed by New Years. The stores to sell Serea's clothes will be up by Christmas, and I want Serea in Japan, New Year's Eve for a party that will be hosted in honor of the company opening. We won't be all going at one time. Nate, after your usual Christmas, party you'll be going to Japan to over see your restaurant. Sere has already told me that Lita is working there part time." Nate seemed to brighten up with this news. "You still have to keep a low profile though, because the other scouts will probably show up to check on there friend. Jason you and the Moon Generals will be traveling to Japan the day after Christmas. On the 31st the rest of us will join you there. Jake, Zack and I discussed it, and decided that we will not be setting up our own company in Japan. We'll just be in charge of security for Sere. Any questions?" "Who will be going to Japan to set up my company?" The question came from Sere. "Probably Jake, and .." he never got a chance to finish. "Never going to happen," the objection came from Sere. Matthew sat back, and folded his hands on top of the table. "Why not?" "If the Inner Scouts, or Darien," Sere began. "Well maybe just Ami, Rei, or Darien, since besides me, where the only ones who had to battle all your evil versions," she began to ramble. "Sere, as much as I think of you as a sister, get to the point," Terra, stated. "Fine, it's like this," Sere started. "If the Inner Scouts and Darien see any of the Earth Generals, they'll shoot and ask questions later." "Sere's right guys," Terra sighed. "Someone else is going to have to go. It can't be me, I have to stay here and handle the modeling end. It will seem odd, if Sara is one of the people to go, because you just started working for us. Jason, might be able to go, because, he can just run everything from Japan, and any of the Moon Generals can go. The question is who is it going to be?" "It can't be Ashe, Logan, or Drake," Jake stated. "At least I don't think it should be." "And why not?" Drake questioned. "Because if you run into your better halves," Jake started. "How should I put this. You might get, you might get, well you might get distracted." "I hate to admit it," Nate said. "But, I think Jake's partially right. You might not get to distracted. But, if I know the outers, and I think I know them pretty well, if they sense anything about you they'll stick to you like glue, which will make your job kind of hard." "Well," Galen said looking around the table and then at Jason. "It looks like it's me and you Jay." "Great," he said throwing up his hands. "Out of everyone seated at this table, I had to get stuck with you." Galen looked at Jason, "And what's wrong with me?" The answer came from Terra. "Galen, you know I love you, and I mean this in the nicest way possible," she said as sweetly as possible. "You're kind of, well, kind of serious. You're the second most serious person I know." She snuck a look at Matthew. "Well he is serious when the Sailor Scout of love isn't around." This made everyone laugh. Matthew was the first to get under control. "I'm not that bad am I," which just made every one laugh some more. "We need to get back to the plan." Every one sobered. "Anyone having any objections, or things to add. Again Serena spoke. "The two of you also need to look for a house, that we can all live in. Either find one for sale, or have one built." She looked at every one gathered, and saw them all nodded their heads in agreement with what she had just said. "Secondly we need to find away to help the scouts without them knowing who we are." "Am I the only confused one?" Jake stated. Terra looked at him. "Usually yes," which made Jake pout. "But in this case no. Mind elaborating on what you just said Sere." Terra looked over at her friend. "It's actually quite simple," she said leaning back in her chair. "When we get to Japan, I intend to let everyone there think that I truly am Serea Fisher. I'm not going to let any of my old friends know that I am actually Serena, at least not yet. I also don't intend to let the Outer Scouts, or Reeny get hurt in the upcoming battle. They weren't the ones who hurt me, and they don't deserve to be hurt. The only problem is if we are going to help them, and I come in wearing my usual outfit they are going to know I am back." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*It's Me~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Sorry, it's kind of short. But I haven't had a lot of time lately, and I am already a week late getting this story out. I wanted to type about everyone back in Japan, but didn't get a chance too.
