Silver Powers - Chapter 8

I don’t own Sailor Moon.  Please don’t sue me, 
I have no money.  

I do own the characters and the powers I 
introduce in this story.  All the Silver 
powers and the four moon generals as well as 
most of Cape Boy’s powers and all of the 
Prince’s guards’ powers are mine. Also, in 
this, even though Serena hasn’t been Sailor 
Moon since before Reenie was born, she still 
has the power to be Sailor Moon.

Usagi Carter


“So that’s it?  Serenity is gone.  She 
just left us!” Haruka said as the Senshi 
gathered around Endymion in the war room.
	“Yes.” Endymion said as the Senshi all 
looked at each other.
	“Where did she go?” Mars asked.
	“I don’t know.  She just left.” He replied 
angrily.
	“I know where she’s at.” Pluto said as she 
walked in.
	“Well?” Jupiter asked in irritation.
	“She’s on a quest to find herself.” Pluto 
replied mysteriously.
	“What?  She knows who she is.  She is the 
Queen of Crystal Tokyo, Sailor Moon, formally 
Princess Serenity and Usagi Tuskino, and she 
is also Usagi Chiba.  She knows who she is!” 
Mina said in frustration.
	“You don’t understand, do you?  She needs 
to discover a few things about herself.  She 
needs to discover that, Sailor Moon or no 
Sailor Moon, she’s still herself.  She needs 
to discover that she can fight for what she 
believes in and not be a Senshi.  She has a 
few life lessons to learn and this trip is how 
she’s going to learn them.” Pluto said as 
everyone pondered the situation.
	“What do we do without her till then?  
Sooner or later people are going to be asking 
questions about our queen.” Neptune said.	
	“We take care of business as usual.  We 
act as though she is just on vacation trying 
to get out of the palace for a while, and we 
wait for her to learn what she must and return 
to us.” Saturn said as everyone looked at her.
	“Hotaru is right.  Let’s make up the 
schedule for the next week and get on with our 
duties until Serenity returns.” Amy said.

Somewhere outside Crystal Tokyo
	“This is the best place to do this.” I 
said out loud.  “Silver Crystal, take me 
home!” I screamed into the air, as I was 
teleported to the Moon.
	“So, Serenity, you’ve come back?  Is it 
time to train you in the ways of the Silver 
Powers?” a woman asked as I wandered around.
	“Queen Gia, is that you?” I asked as the 
Earth Queen came into the light.
	“Who else did you expect?  Your mother and 
I have been waiting a long time to train you.  
I’m sorry about all the misunderstandings.” 
She said as we sat on a rock and turned toward 
each other.
	“So, does this mean Sailor Moon will 
receive Silver Powers or not?” I asked in 
anger.
	“That is yet to be determined.  You have a 
few tests to go through before we know whether 
or not you have any Silver Powers.”
	“I don’t understand.” I said in confusion.  
“I thought we already had them locked away 
inside of us?”
	“No.  You have to face many challenges 
before you get Silver Powers.”
	“But the others haven’t faced any 
challenges.” I said in anger.
	“Yes they have.  The ones who have 
received their powers have.  They have to 
accept their roles in helping you with the 
Crystal Millennium.  Do you understand?”
	“No.” I said.
	“Their guardians told them they must 
protect you and be there for you through the 
trials you will face.  Those who have Silver 
Powers as we speak have accepted that 
challenge.  That’s how they got their powers.”
	“Then what must I do?  I wish to get this 
over with so that I may return to my family 
and friends.”
	“First, you’ve got to learn to be patient.  
Now, follow me.” Gia said as she and I walked 
back into the palace.

In space
	“Lieutenant, inform Colindarn that we’re 
ready to attack Earth.”
	“Yes Corel.” The guard said as he rushed 
to the leader.  
	“Earth will serve Colindarn!”

In the Crystal Palace
	“YOUR MAJESTY, WE’RE UNDER ATTACK!” Sailor 
Uranus said as she rushed into the throne 
room.
	“What?” Endymion asked.
	“We’re under attack and Sailor Neptune has 
started her Silver transformation.  Chibi Moon 
is sitting with her and Sailor Mercury as we 
speak.”
	“Uranus, take Mars and several guards on a 
recognizance mission.  Find out how many there 
are and report back.  By then Neptune should 
be ready to join you.
	“Sire, what about the city?”
	“Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, and 
Pluto are here.  Plus, I will fight if I have 
to.” 
	“As you wish.” Uranus said, as she 
contacted Mars over the communicators.  “Mars, 
meet me in the main hallway, you and I are 
going on a mission.”
	“I’ll be there in five minutes.  Mars out.”
	“Guards, find his majesty’s generals and 
have them meet me in the main hall in two 
minutes.  Now!” Uranus snapped as the guards 
flew off to find the generals.

Main Hall
	“I’m here, let’s go.” Mars said as Uranus 
and the generals stood near the palace doors.
	“Galen and Jedite have volunteered to go 
with us.”
	“No way!  This is a scout mission.” Mars 
said.
	“Raye, as much as I hate to say this, we 
need them.  I know you don’t want them getting 
hurt, neither do I, but we can’t risk us being 
the only two going.  The rest of you, find 
Endymion and start preparations for possible 
evacuation of the palace.  Let’s go.” Uranus 
said, as Galen, Jedite, and a fuming Mars went 
with her.

On the Moon
The Former Senshi Training Grounds
	“Gia, what are we doing here at the 
training grounds?” I asked as she stood before 
me.
	“You have to start training in the ways of 
the Silver Powers before you can even face the 
challenges ahead of you.  Now, let’s start 
with martial arts.  Lady Carin, please come in 
here.” She said as the Queen of Uranus walked 
out onto the training floor.
	“Hello Usagi.  How are you?” she asked as 
tears welled in my eyes.
	“Auntie Carin.” I said as I rushed forward 
and hugged her to me.
	“Sh, my dear.  It’ll all be all right, I 
promise.  Now, let’s us train.  Haruka and 
Raye have taught you well, but let’s see if 
you can stand up to me.” She said as we began 
to fight.

In the forest outside Crystal Tokyo
	“Uranus, what do you see?” Jedite asked as 
the four of them waited.
	“Well, about 20,000 guards; 1,000 
fighters; and about 500 droids.  What do you 
suppose we do?” she asked as the huddled 
together.
	“I say we get back to the palace and let 
them know what we’re up against.” Mars said as 
Galen shock his head in agreement.
	“Jedite?”
	“I agree with Mars.  We’d better get back 
and warn them.”
	“Not so fast!” Corel screamed as the 
Senshi, Galen, and Jedite jumped back several 
feet.
	“Who are you?” Mars asked.
	“I am Corel!  Second in command to 
Colindarn.  Guards, take these spies 
prisoner.” She screamed as the guards rushed 
forward and Mars and the others tried to 
escape.
	“Mars Silver Crystal Power!”
	“Uranus Silver Crystal Power!”
	“Earth General Power Up!”
	“Moon Hawk Power Up!”  
Jedite’s outfit changed from its normal 
gray color to a black, red, and gold one.  On 
it were the symbols of Mars and Earth.  Armor, 
much like that of Prince/King Endymion 
appeared.  Galen was also transformed into 
armor.  His was silver and had a crescent moon 
and a silver hawk on it.  It also carried the 
symbol of Uranus, his beloved.  Sailor Uranus’ 
and Sailor Mars’ outfits changed as well.  
Their fukus, normally one full color, were 
streaked with silver.  The white on the body 
suits changed from white to silver.  Their 
tiaras changed from gold to silver and their 
tunics were streaked with silver as well.  
They split up and each struck their attackers 
with their most powerful attack.
	“SILVER RUBY FIRE MELT!” Mars shouted as 
her attack melted the droids that chased her.
	“SILVER TOPAZ WIND BLOW!” Uranus yelled as 
the men following her were blown a few hundred 
feet away.
	“By the power of the Moon and the Silver 
Hawk, accompanied by the power of my love, 
Uranus.  SILVER HAWK CLAWS SCRATCH!” Galen 
cried out as the Silver Hawk on his armor 
glowed bright and flew off his chest.  The 
hawk flew towards the guards, scaring them 
away from Galen.
	“By the power of Earth and Mars, I call 
upon the power of fire.  EARTH FIRE BURN!” 
Jedite yelled as a ball of flames left his 
hands and struck at the guards and droids.
	“Uranus, we’ve got to get out of here.  I 
say Sailor Teleport!” Mars said as she and the 
others regrouped.
	“Think we can pull it off and get all four 
of us out of here?”
	“Do what you must!  Jedite and I can 
transfer some of our powers into you to help 
with the teleport!” Galen said as he and 
Jedite kept the attackers at bay long enough 
for the girls to power up to teleport.
	“Ready Mars!” Uranus screamed above the 
noise.
	“Yeah!  Go!”
	“Sailor Teleport!” the two screamed as 
they put all their power into the action.  
Galen and Jedite pooled their powers and 
infused the girls.  They all shut their eyes 
tightly, and when they opened them again, they 
we’re in the palace grounds.
	“We’d better find the King!” Galen said.  
What he didn’t notice was, even though he and 
Jedite gave the girls power for the teleport, 
they were still drained.  Uranus and Mars 
collapsed right into the arms of the generals.  
	“Galen, we’d better get them to the 
infirmary.” Jedite said as the two men picked 
up their loves and headed into the palace.

The Infirmary
	“AHHHHHHHHH!” Neptune screamed as Mercury 
and Chibi Moon tried to calm her.
	“Mercury, I don’t know what to do!” Chibi 
cried as Mercury held her.
	“Shh.  Usa, it’s okay.  Just concentrate 
on the Aquamarine Crystal.  Use this crystal 
your mother left for you.” Mercury said as 
Galen and Jedite walked in with Uranus and 
Mars in their arms.
	“Mercury, help us here!” Galen yelled as 
Mercury directed them to two beds.
	“What happened?” she asked as they laid 
the girls on the beds.
	“We got into some trouble.  They had to do 
a Sailor Teleport.  I guess they used up more 
power than we thought, even with Jedite and I 
helping them.” Galen said as Mercury checked 
them over.
	“AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Neptune screamed 
as Mercury, Galen and Jedite looked over to 
her bed.
	“Mercury!  Help!” Chibi Usa screamed.
	“Oh!  Galen, you must get Endymion down 
here!  He’s the only one who can help her 
because Serenity isn’t here.” Mercury said as 
she noticed Galen’s face.
	“What do you mean Serenity isn’t here?” 
Galen asked.
	“None of you generals were supposed to 
know.  Serenity has taken off.  None of us 
know where she is.  Now, Mercury, take care of 
those two while I help Small Lady get 
Neptune’s crystal.” Endymion said as the rest 
of the Senshi rushed in followed by the other 
generals.
	“Yes your majesty.” Mercury said.
	“Chibi Usa, honey, point the crystal at 
Sailor Neptune and say ‘Crystal Extract’ and 
it should let the Aquamarine crystal come 
out.” Endymion said as Chibi Usa pointed the 
crystal at Sailor Neptune.
	“Crystal Extract.” She whispered as the 
Aquamarine crystal came out and floated next 
to Sailor Neptune.
	“Nice job sweetie.  Now, why don’t you go 
over there and sit with Hotaru.” He said as 
she followed his command.  “Neptune, get some 
sleep.  You’re going to need your rest for the 
coming battle.” He said before he walked out 
of the room, Galen, Jedite and the other 
Generals following.
	“Endy, what’s going on?” Kunzite asked as 
they made their way to the war room.
	“I’ll explain once we get to the war 
room.” Endymion said as they rushed through 
the halls.

In the forest
	“Colindarn, they escaped!” Corel said as 
she sat down at a long table.
	“Don’t worry my dear.  Now, what was all 
that racket I heard?”
	“Sire, all four of them had major powers.  
Uranus and Mars were among the four, and sire, 
they had the legendary silver powers.”
	“Yes, I know.  They will not beat us.  
They are without a leader.  Sailor Moon is 
only among us for a short time longer.  
Serenity will be at a disadvantage.” Colindarn 
said as Corel and him exchanged looks.
	“Yes sire.”
	“Now, let us make plans to take over the 
palace and kill those royal pains” he said as 
they started on the plans to take over the 
Crystal Palace.

On the Moon
	“Auntie Carin, what do I have to do next?” 
I asked as we sat.
	“Well, you’ll be getting a visit from 
Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and the others, 
pending on when and if they get their Silver 
Powers.  Now, go with Gia and get something to 
eat and some rest.  Jupiter will visit you 
next.” She said before she left.
	“Gia, can we go get something to eat and 
some rest?” I asked.
	“Sure.  Do you think you could do me a 
favor?” she asked as we walked into the 
building.
	“Sure.  What?”
	“Tell me about Endymion and Chibi Usa.”
	“Oh!  No problem, that’s one thing I can 
pull off.  Come on.” Said as we walked down 
the hall.
    
Sailor Neptune’s Sleep
	“Michiru.  Michiru.”
	“Mother?  Is that you?”
	“Princess Michiru of Neptune, Sailor 
Neptune, Second in command of the Moon 
Princess’ Outer Guard, it is time for you to 
learn of your silver powers.  Sailor Neptune, 
come with me.” The Queen of Neptune said as 
Michiru fell into a deeper sleep.
	“Where are we?” Michiru asked.
	“We are on Neptune, in the Royal Palace 
where you grew up.  Sailor Neptune, do you 
understand what’s going on?”
	“Sort of.  I mean Haruka kind of explained 
what’s going on.”
	“Well, this is the ultimate level for a 
Sailor Senshi.  Your Silver Powers can only be 
surpassed by the powers you will receive as 
the Queen of Neptune.  That too, is coming 
before too long. Neo Queen Serenity hasn’t 
told you what you need to know.  Michiru, she 
is experiencing some inner turmoil.  She wants 
to help all of you and protect you but she is 
also jealous of all of you.  You have one new 
attack and your transformation is new.  To do 
the transformation shout ‘Silver Neptune 
Crystal Power’ and to do the attack shout 
‘Silver Aquamarine Water Drown’.  The 
Aquamarine Crystal will serve you well.  Now, 
all your attacks as Sailor Neptune and Super 
Sailor Neptune have been power boosted.  They 
are much stronger now and you can use all of 
them as Silver Sailor Neptune.”
	“That’s interesting.”
	“Neptune, please, be careful.  The Neo 
Queen is going to need you now more than ever.  
She has a lot of challenges to face and you 
need to do what you have always done for her…”
	“What’s that?”
	“Protect her and be there for her.  She is 
going to need all of you for the coming 
battle.  Daughter, remember I love you.  Now, 
it’s time to go back, both Saturn and Pluto 
have started their transformations and you are 
needed by the King.”
	“I love you too Mother.” Neptune said as 
she awoke in the infirmary.  ‘Serenity, I will 
not let you down, I promise you’ Neptune 
thought as she looked around the room for the 
others.

On the moon
	“Serenity, may I introduce you to Lady 
Stephanie of Jupiter.” Gia said as Lita’s mom 
appeared in front of us.
	“Hello Usagi.  How are you?”
	“Fine.  It’s good to see you again.” I 
said as we hugged.
	“Well, let’s get on with this shall we.  
I’ll be working on basic hand to hand combat 
skills with you.” She said as we started on my 
training.
	“Gia, how is she holding out?” Queen 
Serenity asked.
	“As best as can be expected.  So, has the 
council decided yet or not?” Gia asked.
	“Nope.  They’re waiting until her training 
is finished.  I think if she’s going to get 
the powers, they’ll activate them when she 
needs them most, which will be in the battle 
with Colindarn.  Gia, I’m worried for her and 
the others.  What are they going to do if the 
council decides not to give her any powers?” 
	“Well, let’s hope the council doesn’t 
decide that.” Gia said as the two looked on.

In the Forest outside Tokyo
	“Colindarn, we’re ready to strike!” Corel 
said as the two walked out of the ship.
	“Then let us proceed to the Crystal 
Palace.  I want the Senshi and the Generals 
taken out first.  Endymion is to be left to 
me.  He will fall easy without his queen by 
his side.  Move out!” Colindarn said as all 
the troops and droids and fighters proceeded 
tot he palace.

Crystal Palace
War Room

	“All right.  Everyone except Mercury, 
Chibi Moon, Pluto and Saturn are with us.  
Now, we’ve got enough troops to split up to 
where they will be even and can be led by a 
general and Senshi.  Mercury Will join us and 
Chibi Usa will take her place in the infirmary 
caring for Saturn and Pluto.  King Endymion 
will also stay in the palace and monitor all 
of us, letting us know where the enemy is 
going to hit and such.  Logan and Nikio are 
together; I will go with Galen.  Mars and 
Jedite; Jupiter and Nephlyte; Mercury and 
Zoiscite; Neptune and Blair; Venus and 
Kunzite.  Now, you guys, we have to use our 
most powerful attacks, which means this is 
going to get difficult, really fast.  Mina.” 
Haruka said as Venus stood.
	“Listen, and listen closely.  You have to 
depend on each other.  I know there has been a 
lot of past tension between some of us, but we 
must let love reign and we must rely on each 
other.  Guys, this is going to be difficult 
because we’re down by five.  Now, if all goes 
as planned, as soon as Saturn is able to 
fight, Helios will show up and the two of them 
will team up, no offense to Nikio, but that’s 
how Endymion has paired it.  Those two work 
better together because of their closeness to 
Chibi Moon.  Now, when Setsuna is able to 
fight, she and Chibi Moon will join the fight.  
I only pray that the Gods have mercy on our 
queen and she will be able to join our cause, 
but until then, it’s just us.  Good Luck.” 
Venus said as they all walked out of the war 
room and went to take care of small business 
before going to fight. 
	“This is going to be difficult, isn’t it 
Galen?” Blair asked as the Moon Generals and 
Earth Generals walked down the hall together.
	“Yes, Blair, it will be.  The Senshi are 
not quite skilled enough just yet to use their 
silver powers to full potential.  Do not worry 
though, I have faith in our loves.  They 
always seem to pull through a tough situation 
with grace and ability.”
	“Galen, this time, they don’t have Sailor 
Moon with them though.  Trust me, she is the 
source of their strength and ability as a 
team.  You have not had to battle against them 
like we have.  She is the heart of their 
group.” Kunzite said.
	“That may be true Kunzite.  Now, what 
exactly happened all those years ago?” Galen 
asked as they walked toward the kitchen for a 
last meal before the battle.

On the moon
Twelve hours of training later

	“Serenity, you have trained with each of 
the Queens, except Saturn and Pluto.  There is 
nothing more you can do.  You must go back to 
the palace on Earth and wait.  Your court is 
in the middle of a battle and they’ll need 
Sailor Moon.  Please, give our love to 
everyone.” Gia said as she and the other 
Queens stood around me.
	“Thank you.  I will let the others know 
you are thinking of them.  Please give Queen 
Mila and Queen Sonya my love and tell them I’m 
sorry I didn’t get to see them.  Mother, Gia, 
I love you both very much.  Thank you.  Silver 
Crystal, return me home to the Crystal 
Palace!” I said as I disappeared in a white 
light.
