been Sailor Moon since before Reenie was born, 
she still has the power to be Sailor Moon.

Silver Powers - Chapter 5


Three days later

	“Mom, where did Sailors Mercury, Mars, 
Venus, and Uranus go to?” Reenie asked me as 
we rode our horses around the Palace grounds.
	“On a mission.”
	“Mom, what’s going to happen to Sailor 
Moon?”
	“Well, right now, I’m not sure.  As much 
as I can tell you, you will be the only Sailor 
Moon after this is over, so I guess we get to 
take away the Chibi on your Moon.  Won’t that 
be nice?” I asked as I finally looked at her.  
I hadn’t noticed it till now, but she was 
silently crying.  “Chibi Usa, dismount your 
horse and come here.” I said as we both got 
off our horses and she rushed to me.  “My baby 
girl.  What’s wrong Small Lady?” I asked as 
she cried and cried into my dress.
	“Mommy…I…don’t…want you…to not be…Sailor 
Moon!” she cried harder as she said it.
	“Oh sweetie.  It’s okay.  No matter what 
happens, and I believe this because Grandma 
Serenity told this, no matter what happens, 
I’ll always be Sailor Moon.”
	“I know, but, I just don’t like the idea 
of you not being able to defend yourself.”
	“Small Lady, do you want to know what 
Sailor Mars reminded me of not too long ago?”
	“What is that?”
	“She said no matter what, I could always 
fight.  And the reason for that is because I 
have the Silver Crystal.  I will continue to 
fight, fight until I have no breath left in my 
body.  I love you, and your daddy, and all 
your aunts as well as everyone on this earth 
and in this universe.  I will fight even when 
I can’t, even if I’m not the Champion of 
Justice, Sailor Moon.  I will continue to 
fight for what I believe in, because I believe 
in the power of love.” I said as she looked at 
me.
	“You know, that sounds awfully familiar.” 
She said.
	“It should, think back to your visit to 
the twentieth century, you remember I made the 
same speech.  When we fought with Rubeus and 
the four sisters and Emerald.  I made the same 
statement to you as just plain old Serena.”
	“I remember.  It was the one night, after 
daddy had saved you from the droid that had 
put you in the eternal sleep.”
	“Yes, it was, but I made that promise the 
day I became Sailor Moon.  In all actuality, I 
made that promise back on the moon, when I was 
just Princess Serenity, as you are now.  Small 
Lady, I want you to make a promise to me.”
	“What promise Mommy?”
	“Promise me that no matter what happens, 
no matter what you do, promise you’ll always 
fight for what you believe in and what you 
love.  Fight for those things, just as I 
have.”
	“I promise Mommy, I promise.” She said as 
we mounted the horses again.
	“Serenity!”
	“Endymion, what is it?” I asked.
	“Mars, Mercury, Uranus and Venus are all 
back, and Serenity, they’ve brought the 
generals.”
	“Alright, let me and Chibi Usa put the 
horses away and I’ll meet everyone in the 
throne room.  Has Jupiter recovered enough to 
help us welcome them?”
	“Yes.”
	“Alright, have the Senshi take their 
positions in the throne room and Chibi Usa and 
I will meet you in there in twenty minutes.”
	“All right love, see you in twenty 
minutes.” He said as he rushed off back to the 
palace and Chibi Usa and I went to the 
stables.

The Royal Throne Room
Twenty minutes later

	“Presenting her Majesty, Neo Queen 
Serenity, his Majesty King Endymion, and her 
highness, Princess Serenity.” The guard called 
out as the three of us walked into the throne 
room and took our seats.
	“Presenting, the Inner Senshi.  Silver 
Sailor Venus, Commander.  Silver Sailor Mars, 
second in command.  Sailor Jupiter, third in 
Command.  Silver Sailor Mercury, fourth in 
command.” Another guard said as the Inners 
took their places on my right.
	“Presenting the Outer Senshi, with the 
exception of Sailor Pluto.  Sailor Uranus, 
Commander.  Sailor Neptune, second in command.  
Sailor Saturn, third in command.” Yet another 
guard said as the Outers flanked Chibi Usa’s 
left.
	“Please, bring forth the visitors.” I said 
as a guard escorted eight men to the front of 
the assembly in the throne room.  “Gentlemen, 
all of us know who you are, and now you know 
who we are, but everyone else does not know 
you, so please introduce yourselves.” I said 
as the Moon Generals stepped forward.
	“I am Galen, Commander of her Majesty’s, 
Queen Serenity of the Silver Millennium, Moon 
Generals.  I am also known as the Hawk, 
guardian of the Moon sky.”
	“I am Blair, second in command to Galen.  
I am also known as the Shark, guardian of the 
Moon sea.”
	“I am Nikio, third in command.  I am also 
known as the Spider, guardian of the Moon 
terrain.”
	“And I am Logan, fourth in command.  I am 
also known as the Bear, guardian of Moon 
life.”
	“Thank you gentlemen.  I am Neo Queen 
Serenity.”
	“You’re majesty, I know you probably won’t 
appreciate this much, but what happened to 
Queen Serenity of the Moon?” Galen asked.	
	“Dear Galen, Queen Serenity no longer 
exists on this plane except in Spirit form.  
She died in the last battle on the Moon when 
Beryl attacked.  How do you think you ended up 
here on Earth?”
	“Your highness, who are you?” Blair asked 
me.
	“I am the Neo Queen, my dear Blair, but 
you once knew me as Princess Serenity Usagi 
II, daughter of Queen Serenity of the Silver 
Millennium and the Moon Kingdom.” I said as 
the eight men stared at me in surprise.
	“The Moon Princess, now the Neo Queen of 
Earth?” Nikio asked.  
	“Yes Nikio.  I’m sure you four gentlemen 
remember the Senshi.”
	“Yes, we do.” Logan said.
	“Logan, Sailor Pluto will be here shortly.  
She is taking care of business at the Gate of 
Time.  She knows of your arrival and asked me 
to tell you hello.” I said as we smiled at 
each other.
	“Thank you, Queen Serenity.”
	“Now, your four gentlemen must introduce 
yourselves.” I said as I spoke to the Earth 
Generals.
	“I am Kunzite, Commander of Prince 
Endymion’s Generals.  I also command the power 
of Earth Love.”
	“I am Jedite, second in command of the 
Princes’ Generals.  I also command the power 
of Earth Fire.”
	“I am Nephlyte, third in command.  I also 
command the power of Earth Nature.”
	“I am Zoiscite, fourth in command.  I 
control the power of Earth Ice.”
	“Gentlemen, welcome.  It’s nice to see you 
four back to your old selves.  I’m sure his 
majesty is happy to have his four best friends 
and generals back.” I said as the all of us 
looked at Endymion.  He was smiling from ear 
to ear.
	“That I am.  Now, I’m sure your four 
remember the Inner Senshi.”
	“Yes your majesty.” Kunzite replied.
	“And these are the Queen’s Outer Senshi, 
with the exception of Pluto.  Uranus, Neptune, 
and Saturn.” Endymion said as they each took a 
step forward at the mention of their name.
	“Serenity, I hate to interrupt, but look 
at Sailor Jupiter!” Mercury yelled as Lita 
started to glow silvery green.
	“Uranus!  Mars!  Neptune!  Get her to the 
infirmary!  Venus, Mercury, go with them.  
Saturn, take Chibi Usa and go to Pluto.  Bring 
her back here.  Endy, I’m sure you can take 
care of the eight of them while I take care of 
Sailor Jupiter?”
	“Queen Serenity, I wish to come with you, 
please.” Nephlyte said in worry.
	“Nephlyte, I’d be honored.  Please escort 
me to the infirmary.” I said as I took his 
offered arm and we scurried to the infirmary 
and everyone else went about with his or her 
intended duties.
	“Your majesty, what’s happening to Sailor 
Jupiter?”
	“She is receiving her Silver Powers, 
General.”
	“Oh.  You can call me Nephlyte.  What are 
Silver Powers?” he asked.
	“Well, they are the highest power the 
Senshi can receive.  The only power higher 
that my Senshi can receive is the power of the 
Queen of her planet, which is actually going 
to happen once their daughters reach their 
teen years.  But that will be a very long time 
from now.  None of them have married or had 
children yet.” I said as he smiled at me.
	“We’re here.” He said as we walked in.  
Mars, Uranus, Neptune and Venus we’re holding 
Jupiter down.
	“Serenity!  Hurry!  She’s been glowing 
like this for ten minutes!” Mercury said as I 
rushed to Lita’s side.
	“Lita, concentrate, please.”
	“I’ll try, just hurry!” she screamed in 
agony.  As she did I noticed the pained 
expression on Nephlyte’s face.  ‘Poor guy.  
Seeing her like this must be killing him.’ I 
thought as I absent mindedly called on the 
Silver Crystal.
	“Lita, ready?”
	“YES!” she screamed.
	“Silver Crystal Extract!” I screamed as 
the Jupiter Silver Emerald Nature Crystal came 
forth.
	“Thank you Serenity.”
	“Your welcome dear friend.  Now rest, 
Nephlyte will watch over you and Amy will be 
here if you need her.” I said as I kissed 
Lita’s forehead and she went to sleep.  
“Nephlyte, do me a favor, and stay here with 
her.  She needs you.” I said as he sat in the 
spot I had vacated.  “The rest of you file 
out.  You need rest and some of you are on 
duty now, are you not?” I asked as Neptune 
hurried off to her post.
	“Serenity, we can’t sleep.  Saturn isn’t 
here and you know very well there’s always 
supposed to be two Senshi on duty at all 
times.” Mars said.
	“There is two Senshi on duty.” 
	“Mercury can’t handle this and looking 
after Jupiter.” Uranus said.
	“Mercury doesn’t have to you guys.  Sailor 
Moon is on duty, isn’t she Serenity?” Venus 
asked.
	“Very perceptive Venus.  Eternal Moon is 
on duty till Saturn returns.  Now, the rest of 
you get some rest.  I’ll notify you if 
something happens.” I said as they reluctantly 
went to their quarters.
	
In the infirmary.

	“Lita.  Lita.”
	“Mother?  Is that you?”
	“Princess Lita of Jupiter, Sailor Jupiter, 
Third in command of the Moon Princess’ Inner 
Guard, it is time for you to learn of your 
silver powers.  Sailor Jupiter, come with me.” 
The Queen of Jupiter said as Lita fell into a 
deeper sleep.
	“Where are we?” Lita asked.
	“We are on Jupiter, in the Royal Palace 
where you grew up.  Sailor Jupiter, do you 
understand what’s going on?”
	“Not really.”
	“Well, this is the ultimate level for a 
Sailor Senshi.  Your Silver Powers can only be 
surpassed by the powers you will receive as 
the Queen of Jupiter.  That too, is coming 
before too long.  Neo Queen Serenity will tell 
you basically what you need to know.  What she 
won’t be able to tell you, cause she doesn’t 
know, is that all your attacks as Sailor 
Jupiter and Super Sailor Jupiter have been 
power boosted.  They are much stronger now and 
you can use all of them as Silver Sailor 
Jupiter.”
	“Awesome!”
	“Yes.”
	“Mom, what’s going to happen to Serenity 
as Sailor Moon?  What are we going to do 
without our leader?”
	“Lita, you won’t be without her.  She’ll 
always be your leader, and deep in her heart, 
and all of yours too, she’ll always be Sailor 
Moon.  Jupiter, she’ll be going through 
something soon, that you won’t be able to save 
her from.  Lita, calm down, I know what you’re 
thinking.  She’s not in extreme danger yet, 
but Lita, if you don’t protect her and be 
there for her like you always have been, she 
may be before long.  Lita, there’s a new enemy 
coming, and he’s very powerful.  Protect the 
young Neo Queen, and remember, I love you.  
Now, it’s time to go back.  Your lover awaits 
by your bed.”
	“Mother, can they be trusted?”
	“Yes.  Lita, the four of you Inners were 
betroved to the Earth Generals while the 
Outers were betroved to the Moon Generals.  
Trust in your love for each other and believe 
in the power of love.”
	“I love you too mother, and thank you.” 
Lita said as she awoke to see Nephlyte where 
he had been when I left the room.  “Nephlyte.” 
She whispered.
	“Lita, are you okay?”
	“Yes.  Could you do me two favors?”
	“Anything.”
	“First, will you get me some water.” She 
asked as he reached for a glass and handed it 
to her.  After she drank it, gave the glass 
back, and he set it on the table, she asked 
for the second favor.  “Second, will you kiss 
me.” She said with a smile.  He smiled too and 
did as she asked.  Fireworks were evident for 
the two of them.

The Next Day, in the training grounds

	“All right.  Now, the Inner Senshi have 
gained their Silver Powers, and I’m pretty 
sure the Outers are going to follow soon.  
Sailor Jupiter, let’s work on your attack and 
transformation.  To transform shout ‘Silver 
Jupiter Crystal Power’.  Now, you’re only new 
attack I know of is ‘Silver Emerald Nature 
Electrify’ and that’s exactly how you call 
upon it.  Now, try it.” I said as we all 
backed up and let her go to work.
	“SILVER JUPITER CRYSTAL POWER!” she 
shouted as she was engulfed in a silvery green 
light.
	“Lita, try your attack!” I said as she 
pointed the crystal to the sky.
	“SILVER EMERALD NATURE ELECTRIFY!” she 
screamed as tiny silvery green bolts of 
lightning shot out and thunder was heard.  She 
pointed the crystal at boulders and trees and 
burnt the trees and dusted the boulders.
	“Nice job Jupiter.  Why don’t we all go 
inside and get something to eat, I’m 
starving.” I said as everyone cracked up 
laughing.
	“Serenity, there is evil coming.” Pluto 
said as I lagged behind.
	“I know, I can feel it.  Pluto, what am I 
to do?” I asked.
	“Be ready.  Your Senshi will not let you 
down, and your family will help you.  
Serenity, you’ll have to choose between love 
and lust, and you need to know, as I said 
before, don’t waver from what you believe in, 
no matter what the cost.” Pluto said as she 
went back through the time portal.
	“I’ll try Pluto, by my honor, I’ll try.” I 
said as I joined the others inside.
