HI minna-san!! This is Chichiri taking time out of her VERY busy schedule to type up some more story for you! Well, um, sorry, but this is another sad chapter. But I promise that there will be a happy ending! Really! Anyways, you have to read the other stories by the other AnimeGals ‘cause they’re all REALLY good! And it’ll give you something to read while I freak out about my final projects for school... (especially chemistry!) Guess what? I still don’t own Sailor Moon! Can you believe it? Well, here goes chapter 7. Sorry about the sadness. Gomen. But there is a happy ending! New Snow by Chichiri Chapter 7 - Sailor Mars Returns “I’m not sure exactly,” Makoto replied. “They’re the same, but they’re different in one important way. Do you remember when Nephrite died? His blood was green then. But when we wounded him today, his blood was red. I think that the Four Generals we fought before actually are dead. The ones we’re fighting now are their reincarnations in this world.” “But how?” Usagi asked, shocked. Mamoru looked surprised as well. “I don’t know how,” Makoto said. “I just know that it’s the only explanation and it’s backed up by Nephrite’s red blood.” After a long pause, Usagi quietly whispered, “Rei was right.” “What do you mean Usagi-chan?” Makoto asked. “I am a horrible leader,” Usagi said softly. “Rei said that I’m nothing but a klutzy, stupid, crybaby, and it’s true. It’s because I was late that Mercury was killed. And today Venus was killed because I didn’t attack Nephrite fast enough. It’s a good thing Mars left or she would be killed too.” Looking up, she added, “You guys have to leave! I don’t want you to be killed too!” “Usa-chan, it’s not your fault!” Mamoru put an arm around Usagi’s shoulders. Then he reached down and wiped away her tears with his hand. “Not at all,” Makoto added. “And you have nothing to worry about because Mercury and Venus aren’t dead. They were only captured by the Negaverse. They were only knocked unconscious before they were taken. Nephrite hit you today and was going to take you, but you’re still alive. Don’t worry. We’ll bring Mercury and Venus back from the Negaverse!” “That’s right, Usa-chan,” Mamoru put in. “We’ll get them back.” Usagi smiled weakly. ‘Something’s wrong,’ Usagi thought. ‘It’s been two weeks since the Four Generals appeared. I don’t like this at all.’ She sat in her math class. Suddenly, Usagi felt something. ‘Why now?’ Usagi thought. ‘Why in the middle of class? Well, I have to go.’ Usagi asked the teacher if she could go to the nurse’s office and once she was in the empty hallways, she transformed. Then, concentrating on the negative energy that she felt, she teleported herself to where the trouble was. She was surprised to find herself in front of the door to a classroom in her school. She listened quietly at the door and heard faint moaning. Then she heard Makoto shout, “Jupiter Power!” ‘Mako-chan is in there!’ Usagi thought. Then, she quietly opened the door as Makoto delivered her attack, “Jupiter Thunder Crash!” Usagi lifted the Moon Sceptre and aimed it at the youma shouting, “Moon Sceptre Elimination!” The youma disintegrated into dust. “Perfect timing Sailor Moon!” Makoto smiled. Usagi smiled back and then Makoto was surrounded in a red light and she fell to the ground. “No!” Usagi screamed, instantly recognizing what had happened to Ami and Minako. “Sailor Jupiter!” Makoto fought to keep from falling into unconsciousness. “It’s okay Sailor Moon,” Makoto whispered. “I’ll be fine. I know that you’ll save me and Ami and Minako, too. I believe in you Princess Serenity.” “She’s a tough one,” Jedite remarked, appearing behind Makoto. “None of the others resisted. Let’s see how she likes this!” Jedite raised his hand and gave Makoto another blast. Makoto cringed, and Jedite turned to Usagi, raising his hand to take her as well. “Jupiter,” Makoto sat up, propped on one elbow. “Thunder,” she raised one arm above her head to gather the lightning energy. “Dragon!” Makoto threw her attack at Jedite. “I believe in you,” Makoto whispered to Usagi as she and Jedite disappeared. Usagi stood shocked in the silent classroom with tears running down her cheeks. ‘Where’s Mamo-chan?’ Usagi thought. ‘I’m all alone.’ Usagi realized that she felt an extra burden in her heart. ‘It must be Mamo-chan!’ Usagi thought. ‘He must be hurt!’ The students in the classroom were beginning to stir, so Usagi went out into the hallway and transformed back into Usagi. Then she concentrated on Mamoru and teleported herself to his side. Usagi found herself in a hospital room. She gasped when she saw Mamoru lying unconscious on the bed in the room and fresh tears sprung to her eyes. ‘Mamo-chan,’ Usagi thought to him. ‘I’m here. Don’t leave me alone. Jedite got Sailor Jupiter, so you can’t leave me too!’ ‘Usa-chan,’ Mamoru thought in reply. ‘I’ll never leave you. I felt your danger and I was on my way to help you when a youma attacked me. I defeated it, but then Kunzite appeared. But see, I didn’t let him take me because I can’t leave you.’ ‘Mamo-chan, aishiteru.’ ‘Aishiteru, Usa-chan.’ Suddenly, Usagi felt negative energy again. ‘Oh no! Why twice in one day? Mamo-chan, I’m scared. I don’t want to go alone!’ ‘Usa-chan, you will do just fine by yourself,’ Mamoru reassured her. ‘You’re stronger than all of the Senshi, Usagi. There are people that need your help. Don’t be afraid, you have more power than you know.’ ‘Thank you, Mamo-chan.’ Usagi teleported herself away just as quietly as she had come. Usagi felt panic and fear sweep through her body when she appeared outside her house and felt the bad energy coming from it. She ran inside and began searching the rooms for her family. She found her mother and father in the living room, not moving. She ran to their sides and was greatly relieved to find them breathing. She looked up, hearing laughter from the doorway, and saw Nephrite standing there. “Welcome home, Sailor Moon,” Nephrite said. “Where’s Shingo?” Usagi demanded. “If you mean the little kid, he’s fine,” Nephrite replied. “Moon Crystal Power!” Usagi shouted. “I am Sailor Moon! I hate people who try to hurt other people, but most of all I hate people who hurt my family! On behalf of the Moon I will punish evil Nega-trash like you!” Usagi was glowing with a silvery light and she felt a new power well up inside her. “Moon Sceptre Crystallization!” Usagi pointed the Moon Sceptre at Nephrite and a beam of silver light surrounded him, encasing him in crystal. Nephrite disappeared. Usagi heard him say after he disappeared, “Your brother is with Kunzite. They’re waiting for you, Sailor Moon.” Usagi stood for a moment recovering. Then she began to concentrate very hard on feeling where her brother and Kunzite were. She appeared inside an empty warehouse. “So you’ve come at last, Sailor Moon,” Kunzite said as she appeared. “Nephrite was right about who you are.” “Where’s Shingo?” Usagi demanded again. “I can’t tell you until you defeat me,” Kunzite said. “I am Sailor Moon and I won’t tolerate people who pick on children! Moon Sceptre Crystallization!” Kunzite was encased in crystal, just like Nephrite. “Especially my little brother,” Usagi muttered under her breath. “Shingo? Where are you?” She heard whimpering from behind some empty crates and ran over there. Usagi found Shingo, but he was encased in a black dome of negative energy. She raised the Moon Sceptre and pointed it at Shingo saying, “Moon Sceptre Healing Activation!” The black dome disappeared and Shingo was freed. “Wow! Sailor Moon, is it really you? You actually came to save me? Wait till all my friends at school here about this!” Shingo babbled on. Usagi ran over to him and enfolded him into her arms. “Serena! Look out!” Rei shouted as Kunzite broke free from the crystal encasement and threw a blast at Usagi. “Mars Fire Ignite!” Rei’s attack deflected Kunzite’s a little causing it to only knock Usagi to the ground. “Ah, so the Warrior of Flames has come back,” Kunzite said mockingly. “Now it’s your turn to go!” “I call upon the power of Mars! Help me defeat this Nega-warrior!” Rei shouted as Kunzite prepared to blast her. “Mars Firebird Strike!” “Moon Sceptre Elimination!” Usagi shouted at the same time that Rei launched her attack. Hit from both sides, Kunzite disappeared. “Serena?” Shingo stuttered. “Sailor Moon is my klutzoid sister Serena?” “Uh... yeah,” Usagi sighed. “I’m your sister. But you can’t tell anyone okay? If you tell a single person or thing who I am, I will not hesitate to punish you on behalf of the Moon!” She struck on attack pose to frighten Shingo, it worked. “Okay,” Shingo agreed, obviously afraid of his sister now that he knew she was Sailor Moon. “Good, you little brat. How could you get caught like that? I was really worried,” Usagi said in mock anger. Then she gave Shingo another hug. “Um... Sere--, er, um, Sailor Moon? Thanks for saving me! That was awesome! It’s way cool that your my sister! So the ditzy, klutzy thing is all an act, right?” Shingo said excitedly. “Yeah,” Usagi agreed. “It’s time for you to go home now, Shingo. Sailor Mars, stay here please. I’ll be right back. All right, Shingo, take my hand.” Usagi teleported herself and Shingo back to their house, where she was relieved to see their parents waking up. Then she teleported herself back to the warehouse. Rei was gone. Concentrating on Rei’s energy, Usagi teleported herself to just a few steps behind Rei as she walked back to her temple. “Rei!” Usagi called. “I asked you to wait!” “Go away Serena! You know how I feel about you!” Rei snapped. “That was a lie!” Usagi accused. “If what you said was true, then you wouldn’t have showed up today! Why did you come? I want to hear the truth.” “I’m sorry, Serena,” Rei said quietly. “I can’t tell you. I meant what I said. I showed up today because I felt that you were in danger and I didn’t feel anyone else show up to help you. Why didn’t the others show up?” “Rei,” Usagi said. “Don’t you know? They’re gone. They were captured by the Negaverse and Mamoru is in the hospital. It’s just you and me.” “What?” Rei looked horrified. “It’s all my fault!” “Sailor Moon! It’s time for your decision,” Jedite said from behind Usagi and Rei, who hadn’t transformed out of their Senshi uniforms yet. “Give up now and your last friend won’t get hurt.” Usagi was about to agree when Rei burst out, “No! It’s me you want, not Sailor Moon! I have what you’re looking for.” “And what would that be?” Jedite asked. “The Dark Crystal,” Rei replied. Ooohhhh... Another cliff hanger! Aren’t I mean? Gomen. Next chapter is Rei’s Story finally. So stay tuned for more exciting adventures! Hopefully coming soon! Well, e-mail me what you think, ‘k? The address is runnerup2001@netscape.net Arigato! Ja ne!
